Who We Are

We aren't just a club; we’re a sisterhood of service. As part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC)—one of the world’s oldest and largest nonpartisan women’s volunteer organizations—we turn local passion into global change. We are 1,700 women strong across Georgia, dedicated to enhancing the community we live and work in every single day.

Community Impact

• Arts and Culture: Art Contests, Craft Nights, International Dinners, Book worm/rock painting.
• Civic Engagement: Staffing the Dooly County Veterans Museum, Wreaths Across America, local Food banks.
• Education and Libraries: Free Little Library, Teacher Appreciation, Author Meet and Greets, partnering with the local libraries.
• Environment: Adopt-a-mile, Planting Trees, Arbor Day, Community Gardens, recycle projects.
• Health and Wellness: Breast Cancer Awareness, Heart Health Month, Prevent Child Abuse America, Ronald McDonald House, Assisted Living Support/gifts.
• Global Outreach: Packing hope with Operation Christmas Child and advocating for local safety.

Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness

In June, our page is dressed in advocacy purple. In color psychology, red 🔴 signifies fiery urgency while blue 🔵 signifies calm stability; merging them into purple 🟣 perfectly balances the urgent need for a medical cure with the compassionate care required by families. Accented by the five-petal Forget-Me-Not flower, these colors serve as a living reminder of the precious memories we vow never to lose. To the families navigating the quiet, challenging journey of dementia or caregiving: please know you do not walk this path alone.
